Care Tips
With the pass of time and frequent use the jewellery often get a bit darker or become opaque. With the correct care of the piece, a longer life to the process will be guaranteed. Here are some general and specific tips to keep your jewel as healthy as possible.
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
- Store your piece individually in the box or the bag that comes with your order to avoid scratching each other.
- Avoid wearing jewelry when sleeping or bathing with them and exposing them to substances such as chlorine, seawater, perfumes, creams, etc.
SILVER
It´s normal for silver to darken, so it´s important store your piece in a cool place to avoid oxidation, don´t expose it to corrosive agents such as chlorine, perfume or sea water, will cause it to tarnish easily. To clean them an option is use water and detergent: if your jewelry is not so opaque, soapy water may be enough. Gently rub with your fingers and rinse. The temperature of the water does not have to be hot but warm, then dry it with a soft cloth.
GOLD PLATED
Gold plating is a process, through which we manage to deposit a layer of pure gold on the surface to be bathed, brass in this case. All my jewels are plated with 3 microns, this allows us to give a high quality.
With use and friction, over time it can be given another gold plate to restore the piece. As same in silver, don´t expose it to corrosive agents such as chlorine, creams, perfume or sea water.

PEARLS
Pearls are porous, avoid cosmetics, perfumes, and hair spray can gradually deteriorate them. Therefore, it would be best to put on your pearls after applying makeup, perfume... A good rule of thumb for the care of pearls is that they are the last thing you wear and the first thing you take off!
Wear your pearls often, pearls absorb the skin's natural oils and this keeps them hydrated and shiny, however, try not to wear them while doing sports, as sweat is acidic and can deteriorate their shine over time.
Always keep your pearls separate from other hard jewelry, such as metals and other gemstones, to avoid scratching. The best, keep them in their box alone.
